The Foremost After Dinner Speaking Experience for Sixth Form Students.

For over  thirty years The Gabblers Club has been standing students at the head of the table, offering them the opportunity to practise the art of After Dinner speaking.

Based around a curriculum of fine dining, distinguished guests, and invited speakers, we aim to develop students’ communication and public speaking skills by immersing them in the very environments they are to master. Across six meals hosted in one of the best hotels in Bristol and a Grand Finale attended by the Lord Mayor, our students entertain hundreds of guests with erudite, witty, and incisive speeches.

The best speeches are like theatre. There is laughter and there is pathos. You make the audience roar and also you can touch them, you can see a tear in the corner of the eye.
